Preventing copy with Total Commander

Post by *Brane111 »

Hi All!

I have a question regarding protecting folders inside windows...

I have a folder that I want to be protected from copying from hard disk but that it can still be read (opened).

I am using M File Anti-Copy and it works perfectly with Windows Explorer but Total Commander still can read and copy files.

Is there any way how to protect files from being copied using Total Commander?!

Best regards, Branimir

This tool is a safe way to destroy your Windows installation.
Default Windows security is the way to protect Windows
and there is nothing there which need to be protected from reading.

It is generally impossible to allow reading but to restrict copying because copying is reading from location A and then writing to location B.
