See which plugin is used to view a file?

One thing that bugs a lot is that when I F3 or Ctrl-Q on a .aux file (such as one that is produced by LaTeX), Total Commander always hangs. A clean install doesn't have this problem, so it must be caused by a plugin, right?

But how to *catch* that naughty plugin, please? That is, given a file extension (.aux in my case), is there a convenient way to see which plugin will get in charge? Of course I don't want to disable the plugins one by one and try again and again. Thanks a lot!

Check the [ListerPlugins] section of %COMMANDER_INI% file. The N_detect key contains extensions detected for a plugin given by N key (N is number)

You don't need to disable plugins one by one, you can disable them half by half. E.g. you have 16 plugins, remove last 8 and restart TC, check, then remove another 4 (if problem exists) or return 4 from removed (if all is ok) and try again, etc.

That's smart! It turns out the hang is caused by TC Jad (http://totalcmd.net/plugring/tc_jad_plugin.html). I can use the command-line version of Jad instead, or JD-GUI. Thank you!
