how to start focus+edit the name with on clic mouse only?

hi,

i don't get used, and really do not like the left double-clic to focus then edit the name. often, i went wrong and start the file because my double clic is too fast...

so,

i have a mouse with 3 buttons (left, right and wheel button).
is there way to configure the thirds button (wheel button) to edit the name of the focused element in the list ?

It will be great to use the wheel button for edit the name or do something else!!!

The wheel button is already taken by the list control itself for fast scrolling, sorry. You can disable the double click for renaming, though:
