Sync function not working

Today i install the new TC8.52a, and try to compare one folder with data on the left and empty folder on the right. i checked the asymmetric and sub folder and i click button with arrow to the right(copy files from left to right).

When i click compare nothing happened, it also happened with other 3 button
(equal files, unequal files and copy files from right to the left).

I wondering if someone kind enough to help with this problem...maybe i'm not doing it right, please give pointer.

I am with TC8.52a under Windows 7 PRO.

I experience the same problem:
Synchronize directories (with subtdirs) after compare shows:
File found 0/1371 (identical 0/1371. Different unique left 0. unique right 0/1.

I cannot see any directories or files with Show: ->, =, =/, <- .
The Synchronize button is greyed and inactive.

The problem is completely identical to the one described ba segara.darah

I would very much appreciate a solution.

Have you both pressed buttons duplicates and singles?

Checkboxes in Sync tool are for compare options and must be set before comparing but Show buttons (→, =, ≠, ←, duplicates, singles) are for filtering displayed files after comparing so try checking them all first.

I don't know if this is the place to continue with this problem; echo1947 has his query solved, but segara.darah's appears outstanding, so -

I have the same problem ..I think: pressing Compare,
with..
Only selected [working on six pictures folders]
Asymmetric
Subdirs (folders)
L>R, L<R
duplicates
singles
..all ticked - but the list (in blue) shows 30 jpg files in 6 folders, no summary, AND NO ACTION MARKERS IN THE CENTRE between the two columns of files.
Left/Source panel has older files; Right/target panel has younger.
Ostensibly, TCSynch would offer to delete the right/target files because of the asymmetric tick, but they're younger-dated files (same contents).

Is this some kind of 'DEADLY EMBRACE' where TCSynch cannot decide what to do? Delete the asymmetric side files, but cannot because they're younger/more recent?

... but will not by default, because in general you don't want to overwrite the younger files.

If you are really sure you may do a synch without them, this lets only unmarked files remain in the list.
Next select them all by Ctrl-A and Ctrl-R to select copy from right to left .
