I would like to have multiple tool bar glued together.
for now, I use sub-bar but would like to see the subbar as a bar instead of switching to or sub-menu. The nested bar tool is not is not useful as the common part is just duplicated.
if the suggestion is too complex at least an appendbar[2] <filename> command could be useful/enough specially if the change menu target the right bar file !
Subbar as bar !

You mean you want some toolbar overload like this?

I think it's a meaningful suggestion. It's not about getting more buttons - this can be done in a single bar too - but more about certain commands in certain situations.
It would have to be very easy to display an additional bar when certain conditions are met - looks like a candidate for the auto view mode switch...

Nope, it is just the opposite, i want to be able to organize and not a single multipurpose bar.ghisler(Autor) wrote:You mean you want some toolbar overload like this?
I have mostly [Navigation/Selection Bar][Common file Bar]|-2|[Context Driven Bar]|-2|[Scrap bar] in 3 lines using -2 as separator.
The context bar is the one that change depending of the "context" this could be linked to View Mode. The scrap bar is a temporary section i use to do test command/script or drag temporary button i do not use too much...
You exactly got my point Lefteous. For now i have specific set of command for audio manipulation, images, Specific NAS / Sync Script, DEV/Project... And for all bar i have some useful command i consider as common this common part have to be duplicated each time (which is sub-optimal). The same occurs on the scap part which is very volatile.Lefteous wrote:I think it's a meaningful suggestion. Also the bar definition dialog could be more friendly if we could resize it
