Select Multiple Files via Shift Modifier + LMB?

Post by *Aebian »

Hello TC Crew,

is there a simple option available that I can select multiple files in folder by just hitting the Shift Modifier and LMB? Since so far I need to click on everz item while having Ctrl pressed.

Thanks,

A.

The selection using Shift or Ctrl modifiers in conjunction with LMB is the same as in Explorer. Regardless of selection mode set in TC settings, by the way.

Well if so it is not working for me then. It works in the Explorer but not in TC.
If I press Ctrl or Shift and the try to hold down LMB to select multiple files I just get a red crossing and only one file is selected.

Don't hold down LMB, just press it on the first and last object you want to select. Even in Explorer you don't need to hold down LMB, you either use LMB alone (holding it down, which is rubber-band selection) or you hold down Shift/Ctrl and press LMB on the files or range you want to select. Holding Shift AND LMB is not necessary.
