hi,
during a folder synchronization (full hard drive, one internal, other external usb), TC always cares of the system files of trashcan ($RECYCLE.BIN).
is it normal ? it is a filesystem which cannot be use on other system drive at all, so it must be ignore.
thanks for help.
how to avoid $RECYCLE.BIN during synchronize folder ?

according to my translation in French, the ignoreList aims to hide (not display) files-folders , not to ignore the synchronyze.MVV wrote:You can easilly add $RECYCLE.BIN to ignore list in TC settings.
at least there should be an option to not synchronize hidden files.

i did not chose that; this is system file, they are already hidden but TC consider them in synchro task whereas i don't see them.HolgerK wrote:If you(as user) decide to show hidden/system files(cm_SwitchHidSys, cm_SwitchHid, cm_SwitchSys), you should know what you ar doing.

When ignore list enabled, items are not listed, copied, moved, synced etc.Michael REMY wrote:according to my translation in French, the ignoreList aims to hide (not display) files-folders , not to ignore the synchronyze.
You can use SyncHideHiddenSystem option in wincmd.ini, it allows ignoring hidden files in sync.Michael REMY wrote:at least there should be an option to not synchronize hidden files.
Ah, i see.Michael REMY wrote:i did not chose that; this is system file, they are already hidden but TC consider them in synchro task whereas i don't see them.
Workaround:
- select all (visible) files and folders in left and right panel
- "Sync. dirs." with "[x] Only selected"
Unfortunately this works only for file attributes and not for folder attributes.MVV wrote:You can use SyncHideHiddenSystem option
