SOLVED[9.0ß9] PlugIn Search Bug

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

SOLVED[9.0ß9] PlugIn Search Bug

Post by *brahman »

I have junctions - in the column defined by [=ntlinks.RP_Target] the path is shown.

When I make a search in Plugins for "ntlinks RP_target contains *" no files are being returned.

Win 10 x64 Pro.

What do you expect?
None of your paths contains a "*" => empty list

Note: "*" is not a wildcard, it is just the letter "*".

Thank you for your answer.

And how would one do a search like the one I was planning to do: Searching for a non-empty field in the ntlinks RP_Target column?

Searching for a non-empty field in the ntlinks RP_Target column?
Maybe thi will work

ntlinks RP_target != ""

where "" means blank field.

I found at least one possible answer:

"ntlinks RP_target regex .*"

will find all junctions.
