Visual bug with font size 10 or bigger

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Visual bug with font size 10 or bigger

Post by *jslegers »

Hello,

When I have a font size of 10 and some dialog boxes have some problems with the bigger font.

Example of Change the Button bar with a font size of 10

Other example in Preferences

Is this a know issue?

Lefteous gave me a tip of changing the DPI to 106.
For the configuration screen the DPI setting works but for the buttonbar editor it still has the visual glitch.

TC does not scale dialog boxes with the font size. I tried that once, and it looked horrible with some fonts, especially fixed pitch fonts (all characters have the same width). Sizes from 7 to 9 work best, depending on the font you choose. Just choose the best fitting font, and then resize the dialogs with the DPI option.

Hello Christian,

Thanks for the answer.

Are there maybe other ideas to align some dialogs.

For example the copy dialog :

Same for move.

Just want to help to make TC Perfect.
