[TC9] Path changes after comparing and changing file on ftp

Post by *LonerD »

TC 9 rc1 x32 and x64 (also tested beta 17 and some early betas) - clean, with default settings.
Windows 10 x64 Home Single Language English.

Open ftp connection in one panel and connect to any ftp.
Select two files - one on local computer, second - on ftp.
Run cm_CompareFilesByContent or cm_IntCompareFilesByContent.
Edit file on ftp.
Close comparison (press [x] in window's right up corner).
Total says "The file has changed. Do you want to upload it back to ftp?", select "Yes".
File uploads and path in ftp panel changes (without disconnect). It's very annoying, especially when comparing many files.
In TC 8.5 and early versions path remains unchanged.

It should switch to the directory of the upload.

File uploads and path in ftp panel changes
I cannot reproduce this - here the directory in the FTP panel stays the same.

Where does the path in your FTP panel change to? - to parent directory?

EDIT- After testing on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 I can confirm that after re-uploading, the file panel on the FTP side changes to the directory of the local hardisk that was open before connecting to FTP,

This does NOT happen under Windows 7 (testet on to PC's)
