Delete not going to recycle bin after installing 9.0
I installed 9.0 today and when I press the F8 button the file is deleted, it bypasses the recycle bin. The prompt says move to the recycle bin but it's not happening, it's a hard delete.

Could you please give me more details? I cannot reproduce this error.
1. Windows version?
2. Total Commander 32-bit or 64-bit?
3. What drive type, e.g. local harddisk?
4. What is set in Recycle bin settings (Right click on F8 button)?
5. What is set in Configuration - Options - Copy/Delete as copy method?
6. Do you have a line starting with VistaDelete= in wincmd.ini?

It must be happening under very specific conditions only. TC checks the registry whether a drive is supporting recycle bin or not. There may be wrong information somewhere.

Local disks, some HD's, some SSD's.
I got a disk low message which really puzzled me. It's not actually deleting the data. Under the $RECYCLE.BIN directory is this folder:
S-1-5-21-2042984375-2541039327-1862150156-1001
That has all the deleted files. The trashcan icon is clear, can't delete the stuff. So I selected the data in that folder and did a Shift-F8 which hard deleted it.
Right click F8: Shows custom size
In Config copy is set to standard copy method
No Vista switches in wincmd.ini

Where did you delete files from? Local disk or network drive, e.g. your NAS? Network drives don't have any recycle bin unless enabled explicitly (which involves registry modifications).
