Replace Windows Explorer with Total Commander

Post by *scorpion69 »

Absolutely love using Total Commander....that is why I bought it many years ago.

So I am running Windows10x64 Pro.

All I ever use is Total Commander...for everything i can.

I want to TOTALLY replace Windows Explorer with Total Commander.

I have tried some .reg hacks I read on the web but none work.

Does anyone know how to do this??

Thanks........

Hello, scorpion69.

The Windows Explorer is more than just the Windows default file-manager. It is the Windows graphical shell.
While it would be possible to cover the file-manager role by Total Commander, Total Commander cannot be used as the Windows shell.
As a result, you cannot completely replace the Windows Explorer by Total Commander.

Best regards,
Karl
