delete multiple files in folders? (ransomeware)

Post by *mrboonmee »

we got osiris ransomware and restored to an earlier image, for some reason thousands of files in almost every folder with "osiris" tag.
,
with a search, I can find them, see no way to delete all files.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

All my files are infected with Osiris virus. I don't have money to pay for decryption so I've decided to remove them.... but I can't. I've even tried to do it manually using guide from Google search and Eraser tool, but they did't helped.
So the last option is to format drive and re insatall Windows?????

Whats the error messages you get if you try to delete the files ?
There is no Ransomware which blocks deletion of files.
You may have permission problems with your restored image.
