Hi guys,
I am hoping to make a user command in the usercmd.ini file that opens the the %COMMAND_PATH% location in TC's source panel.
I have tried the following with no luck.
[em_CMDPATH]
cmd=cd %COMMAND_PATH%
[em_CMDPATH1]
cmd=cd %%COMMAND_PATH%
[em_CMDPATH2]
cmd=cd %%COMMAND_PATH%%
Any ideas?
[em_TestTCRunningLocation]
cmd=cmd.exe /c "echo TC Drive=%COMMANDER_DRIVE% & echo TC Startup path=%COMMANDER_PATH% & echo TC INI File=%COMMANDER_INI% & pause", is very interesting and I have also tired things like:
[em_CMDPATH3]
cmd=cmd.exe /c "echo Set Var01= %COMMANDER_DRIVE% & cd Var01 & pause"
(I would imagine calling it [em_%COMMAND_PATH%] could cause problems?
Thanks,
Jimmy

There is no COMMAND_PATH environment variable !
its named COMMANDER_PATH.
For what reason do you need an em_ for this
and why should it named according to a variable ?

Maybe you should try my Extended Menus (see my signature here below) - they contain a lot of the functionality you have asked for recently here in the forum.
For example for the task in this topic you can use the Menu item: "Folders" -> "Total Commander" -> "Program"
The menus comes with command files for 461 external commands (Windows 10 version) - so you can learn a lot about making em_commands from studying the provided commands file (for example wcmd_win10amd64_1_eng.ini)
