It seems that total commander has an issue with deleting a lot of folders in a single command
Reproduction
1. Create a new folder called "test"
2. Within this new folder use the new folder command of total commander and use the following as the folder name "<1-100>folder[C]" (this will create 100 numbered folders)
3. Now select all of the newly created folders that start with "folder"
4. delete them.
5. Total Commander will delete them quickly
6. Upon finishing the delete of the folders Total Commander will occupy one single thread worth of CPU load time for a loooooong time and keep the delete window open. During this time there is a constant 7MB I/O read by total commander (according to Process Explorer)
This process takes longer every folder that is added to the delete command
My benchmarks of how long total commander hangs after actually performing the deletes
Deleting 10 empty folders: 5 seconds
Deleting 20 empty folders: 11 seconds
Deleting 40 empty folders: 20 seconds
If you delete the root folder "test" then this issue does not exist, no matter how many folders are in it
Hope this can be fixed
Performance issue with deleting lots of empty folders

Total Commander 9.12 x64
Windows 10 1709 x64
We are talking normal delete to the trashcan here, not shift-delete
Just tried the equivalent using file explorer
Same issue. So this is not Total Commander
Guess i have the sleight hope Windows 10 x64 Version 1803 might fix this
Can somebody try to reproduce this on 1709? (just to be sure)
