This has been available since TC 9.0 beta 1 from june 8th 2016 - see: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/multirename_autorename.png

No, overwrite isn't available, for good reason: Imagine what happens when you accidentally set the same name for all the files. After renaming with overwrite enabled, you would only have a single file left.

I still would very much like to have such an option!
Imagine, you hit * and shift+delete...? You can't protect the user from making any mistakes (not even the dumb ones). A "normal" Windows-User would not even use TC. A TC-User knows what he/she's doing - most of the time, anyways
