Is there any way fr a quick-dynamic change of images thumbnails, thus, click a button to have 250px images, another button 500px...and so on.

There is apparently a ThumbSizeSwitch script, which is currently discussed in the German forum:

It didn't work with 9.50 any more, but the user there adapted it. Maybe you can read the thread via Google Translate.
