As the attribute header only gives a *plong* in file comments view and no attributes are shown anyway, it could as well be replaced with a column "File Description" which enables sorting. To add sugar on top, the column should be moved directly beneath the extension column.

Re: [REQ] Sort by comment in classic comments view
Also with sorting by comment in classic comments view (Ctrl+Shift+F12) it would be nice to have a native sorting mode in TC (not whitin wdx plugins) by attribute in full view (Ctrl+F12).icfu wrote:As the attribute header only gives a *plong* in file comments view and no attributes are shown anyway, it could as well be replaced with a column "File Description" which enables sorting. Yes, even though there is no such column as "Comments" in the default views, and while it's possible to create custom columns view with Comments column, I support adding some convenient ways to sort by comments in any (default or not) column view by introducing a new command to sort by comments (e.g. cm_SrcByComment) and the menu item for it: Show->Comment (near Show->Name/Extension/Time/Size/Unsorted).eugensyl wrote: 2008-01-20, 16:52 UTCAlso, for more convenient use of Comments view, even though TC doesn't provide the column with a name "Comment" in default views, it would be nice to have a commant to sort by comments (like cm_SrcBySize).
