- open use F3 text file
- see that everything has opened and go back to TC, we do not close the open file
- for about 20-30 minutes we use TC without touching the open file on F3
- after a time of 20-30 minutes, it returns to the file open on F3 and close it by clicking on the cross
- an error appears Access violationhttps://www.imagebam.com/view/ME8SSUH
I know about the possibility to create a report file in the program, but there is nothing in the report and there are no errors.
I do not know where to look for more detailed logs
Tell me what can I do to help solve the problem and show you more logs?
to repeat the problem with this plugin, you can wait not 20-30 minutes, you can wait 2 minutes, but only at the same time you need to use TC and move through folders and open other files on F3 and close them. The first file opened is not closed at the same time and is always open until the very end
can you advise me what to do to solve the problem?
Is there a way to get a more detailed error log?
You should revert to version 1.6.21 of cudalister which is more stable and report your issue to the author of the plugin also... --Edited --
TC do not open file to view it unless you switch using 1-3 keys.
This is the plugin which is responsible to open, read, write*, close files !
I was able to reproduce opening multiple files in same folder with F3 (c, java, lua... ) targetting cudalister 1.7.2 with text coloration... No issues with 1.6.21 version ???
Even following your new scenario no crash here.
I don't see anything special in your settings.
I use CudaLister many times a day on small and very large files without any problems.
the problem is in the new version 1.7.2 of the plugin CudaLister. the old version 1.6.21 works stably. the problem is not with TC.
thanks for the help.
I reported the problem to the author.
I also get exceptions for almost any text file (.txt, .c, .vhdl, ....) with CudaLister *if* I enable the minimap (tooltip on/off makes no difference).
With the minimap disabled, the plugin works well.
It's like that since a long time (can't tell the version back then) and still is with the latest version.
So far I had no time to investigate the problem in depth. I just wanted to let you know.

the problem with the crash and error is fixed in the version 1.7.4.
everything works as it should, the problem is solved by updating the plugin.
test it and tell me what you get in the new version?
Well, 1.7.4.1 made things worse for me.
Now the plugin causes the entire TC to hang whenever I close the lister for *.cpp and *.inf files.
*.txt files work.
I will do more testing during the next days.
The last version that *seems* to work properly for me is 1.6.21 (32bit).

Das kann ich für .inf Dateien nicht bestätigen.
Geht hier mit beliebig vielen offenen beliebigen .inf Dateien.
Für .cpp Dateien benutze ich im TC den Explorer Preview über den Delphi Preview
Windows 11 Home, Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.4351) TC 11.55 RC6 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1395a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.5.5.0, Listary Pro 6.3.2.88
QAP 11.9.0.3 x64

1) my *.cpp and *.inf files work without problems. you can pass me two files for the test (*.cpp and *.inf) that does not open?
2) have you updated only the .wlx file? you still need to update all the files in the layers folder, overwriting the old files.
3) the author of the program fixes problems during the day, he is responsive. if you have a problem, let me help you solve it and I'll talk to the developers to fix the problem.
