The files are showed as dot dot. Solved by correcting the tabstop of extention.

All of my files are showed as dot dot. Please help !
The folders are OK.
After I just changed my graphic card.

The flies are showed ok on windows explorer and other utilities.
They are not hidden files.

If I move the cursor on it, It will then show full name.

Strange: it is fixed by disable "use long name" option

Now some of the folder names become something~1 ?

You probably unchecked "use long names" in Configuration - Options - Display. Then names longer than 8 characters will be shortened to shortn~1.

If I click on those links I am told that I don't have access - you need to put the images in a public folder.

I fixed it by reset or replace the wincmd.ini file.
Maybe, the wincmd.ini file is corruptted..
It only happened when I changed the graphic card.

I can see your images now - and I must say that I have never experienced what you see, and I have no explanation for it,without seeing your wincmd.ini file.

Please find both wincmd.ini
I have been using this wincmd.ini for very long time.
Maybe, it has grown too much for different versions of Total Commander.
Maybe, I should start a clean wincmd.ini file from scratch.

It would be very useful if you could find out which settings in the wincmd.ini causes this. You can copy e.g. 10 settings at a time, restart TC and test. Then another 10, and so on, until you can find the relevant setting.

I tried your wincmd.ini.bad.txt.bad in my TC, and did not encounter those "..2 names.

You could try removing all Tabstops entries and the [Tabstops] section in the ini file and see if that fixes your problem.

After I chose "directly after filename" of the Tabstops options.
or If I adjusted any tab stop
It is fixed !!

It is not possible to set the extension tabs width to -10 via the GUI - it must have been done by editing the ini file manually

Yes ! I must had played with it some ten years ago !
With correct graphic driver, it worked well in the past.

Now, we found it was my mistake.
Maybe, we can prevent only the ".." to be displayed, in the future version.
