Mind Reader

Post by *Gral »

There are some new features in every TC release, but let's be honest - in general, traditional file managers are obsolete and we need something really new.
Sometimes I don't know how it happens that I want to move files, and after a while I notice that TC copied them, sometimes I want to copy them, and it turns out that TC packed them.
There are many more such mistakes.
Then I wonder if I pressed the wrong key or the TC did something wrong.
Such mistakes can be avoided by introducing some really breakthrough technology into TC.
We definitely need a Mind Reader in TC - no more mistakes like that again, whatever I can think of - TC will do.
Keyboard and mouse will become almost useless, not to mention speeding up all operations.

I fully agree but not for TC just for M$ windows 12.
I would go inside TC for a experience level gradation, you earn point by doing defined number of file task in a period, then TC enable more and more feature depending of your level. If you do it wrong or stop using TC for a day, you loss some point and freeze functionalities for a month... Except if you pay to get unlock code or new feature pack...

Hmm, I must have trained my TC well - it always knows what I intend to do - sometimes even before I know it myself. But I also have had TC since it was a baby :D

Total Commander is like a Swiss knife:
It has a sharp blade and cuts very well, but you have to be a bit careful not to cut yourself. :)

On 1.4. you can make a lot of wishes....
