Internal associations & F4

Post by *Galizza »

Hi, sorry if this question was answered before, i have been searching without success.

I use F4 Menu to launch adequate program for each extension(s). I like to know if it's possible to use internal associations to do the same, but instead of opening and selecting appropriate entry on context menu, just press F4.

I only use one program for each extension, so i never have to choose between different programs on internal associations context menu. Thanks.

Open: "%COMMANDER_PATH%\Utils\TCFS2\TCFS2.exe" /ef send({F4})
There are other options instead of F4Menu.

I don't see the problem when you say "I only use one program for each extension".
With an internal association you can simply press enter or double click on a file
to run this program.

We are talking about the mass opening of selected files by Enter using an auxiliary program.

I don't see anything related to mass opening in the posters text ?

For shure I know it and even made some modifications in its AHK code years ago.
Now I use internal associations with the context menu to select different programs.

But the poster asks to replace F4Menu with other means
which is not related to any mass edit.

F4Menu is not on AHK. You are confusing with F4MiniMenu.
F4Menu can open files without a menu.

Where does he ask for something to be replaced? It asks for F4 execution in internal associations and nothing else.

P. S.: poster = placard = banner.

And thats the reason why I said that an internal association is enough
because he also said that only one program is used for an extension.

If it were about opening only one file, then there would be no point in mentioning F4Menu.

But thats what he said.
Lets wait if there comes any clarification.
