Is there a setting to apply the "by file type" predefined colors to the results list of the search dialog? (I neither found such a setting nor anything on this topic here in the forum.)
If not, it (IMHO) would be a very helpful feature to implement. I use colors for several critical conditions (like specially named unfinished project files), and it would be nice to be able to immediately identify them visually in a search results list. – Without the need to "apply" these search results to a file pane.
To a lesser extent, such coloring would also often come handy inside the Multi-Rename tool, btw.

Feed the results to the list box and all your color by file type definitions work.

Hm. Didn't I explicitly write:

Without the need to "apply" these search results to a file pane.
