[TC 11.50ß2] Wrong character for beta - ß instead of β is used

Total Commander beta versions uses the wrong character for beta. The German eszett 'ß' is used instead of the Greek small beta 'β'. Both characters look very similar and in old DOS times this similarity was also used in codepage 437 - the German eszett and the Greek small beta were the same character.

This is intentional because there is no beta in most code pages, but the sz character is available in Western, Middle European, Baltic, Turkish, Vietnamese.

Microsoft Copilot answered the question about Eszett: "The codepages 1251 (Cyrillic), 1253 (Greek), and 1255 (Hebrew) do not have the German Eszett (ß). The others (1250, 1252, 1254, 1256, 1257, 1258) do contain the Eszett."
and about the Greek small beta: "Codepage 1253 is the only one from 1250 to 1258 that includes the Greek small beta (β)."

Nevertheless, IMHO the eszett should not be misused. Perhaps the Great Latin B would be better.

Since this is only used during beta tests it's irrelevant for the final version.
