solved [TC 11.50b2] change required to string 5485

This string:

should be changed to:

Apart from being a suggestion and not a bug,
shouldn't the list of packers be sorted alphabetically?
(That's at least how I do it)

It is cusum to report missing changes to strings when they are affected by new features.

Or they could be listed in the order they appear in the right side of the "Pack files" dialog - that would be:

or by concieved popularity:

I would like
"&Multiple disk archive (ZIP, 7-ZIP, RAR, ACE, ARJ)"
That has the most popular formats first
and other rarely used old formats on the end.

I googled for most popular archive formats - I didn't find anything conclusive but it appeared as if RAR is still more popular than 7-Zip

But on the otrher hand ZIP and 7-ZIP are the only internally packers in TC so I agree that those two should be first in the list.

Just a moment, but 7zip does not support volumes for .7z at all. It just cuts the parts .001, 002, etc. just the same way as TC splits files via "File -> Split files" option.

Nevertheless - If I choose "Multiple disk archive" The file is split up in those parts.

If I try and select that option for TAR, GZ, LHA or TGZ, TC automatically selects ZIP instead, but not if I chose ZIP, RAR, ARJ, ACE and 7-ZIP - so even though it might be pseudo disk archives, TC supports it, hence is should be mentioned in the list.
