self-explained pic.
P.S.
First of all, please note that since the very horizontal arrangement of all objects is striking,
then the brain tries to complete the visually missing horizontal lines separating objects.
So that everything does not look like a "free-for-all".
And this checkmark with such a "division of boundaries" falls into the horizontal sphere
of influence of next GUI objects: "Background" label, "Default" combo box, and ">>" button.
But this is not a true as we may find out from the help.
So obviously that some additional horizontal arrangement or additional group box here is expected.

Re: Definitely missed some element of attention focus
It refers to the icon above it, that's why it's not aligned to the controls on the left. Those who can't figure it out can look it up in the help:
Sorry, I don't see a better location for this option.Priority:
Gives the view mode icon priority over icons loaded by other methods, e.g. from desktop.ini, or drive icon for root directory.

Re: Definitely missed some element of attention focus
It seems that I suggested that it is necessary to VISUALIZE the belonging of this option to other objects on the tab.
You can take all the necessary objects and place them in a group box also - like you did with anohters!

Re: Definitely missed some element of attention focus
Wouldn't that break alignment with the box in front of it, which is labeled "Tab color and icon:"?place them in a group box

Re: Definitely missed some element of attention focus
If you have described everything correctly, then exactly with these elements that a new object should be directly adjacent!
Well, the strangest thing is, don't you have such a development environment where you can quickly create this innovation
as a GUI-template and just see in-live what it will look like?
