Washed out text in "Compare Files" message dialog.
Hi,
I noticed the following cosmetic issue in TC 11.02, but it also still exists in TC 11.50b3.
When comparing two files that are identical, a message window is shown. In my particular scenario, the text in that dialog is shown washed out:

This only happens in the following scenario:
Total Commander runs on a Windows 10 machine that uses a FullHD monitor.
Sometimes I use Remote Desktop to connect to that machine.
The Remote Desktop client uses a 2560x1440p display.
When Total Commander was started (physically) on the remote machine, and I then connect to it via RDP, the text in the MessageBox above is shown washed out.
When I close and reopen Total Commander within the RDP session, the text is shown clear instead.
So far this is the only instance I found where HiDPI display content is not respected.
Note: The same behavior might be observable when you have 2 monitors with different resolution connected to the same machine.
However, I don't have such a setup, and cannot test it myself.

This is a standard Windows MessageBox(), nothing I can do to fix it.
Does it look OK in dark mode? Then I'm using my own dialog box.

@ghisler in Dark mode it indeed looks OK (the dialogs look actually completely different).
Only in classic/light mode, this happens.

BTW, I can confirm that this also happens when you have 2 monitors with one having "normal" DPI (let's say 1080p) and the other HiDPI.
If I open Total Commander on the "low DPI" monitor, and then move it to the HiDPI monitor, the text of that message box also looks washed out.

As the author pointed out, this has nothing to do with TC. It is typical Windows behaviour when using screen scaling and has nothing to do with screen resolution either. If you set the screen scaling to 100% you will not see this issue.

Re: Washed out text in "Compare Files" message dialog.
The classic MessageBox is a standard Windows dialog box, it looks like Microsoft was a bit lazy to handle its scaling.
Total Commander resizes its own dialogs when moving them between different DPI screens, and assigns a font with updated size to render the text without blurring.
I still prefer to use the MessageBox because it's a standard Windows function, which is better adapted to the current windows theme.

Alright, thanks for the explanation.
I can live with the behavior, it's only cosmetic, and it occurs only now and then.
