Re: cm_SyncChangeDir using command-line parameters

There are a lot of applications that contain a command line in their interface. These are various file managers, launch managers, dock-stations, programs with their own interactive console. There are quite a few of them. The most famous ones in Windows are Win+R or a new task in the task manager.
wanderer wrote: 2024-09-02, 13:56 UTC Well, that's true but i'm not 18 any more, so sometimes it may not be that easy to try such workarounds (no time, too much pressure @ work or a few other reasons).
It takes much less time than writing posts, believe me. ;)
wanderer wrote: 2024-09-02, 13:56 UTC Thanks for it, i'll try to check your proposal but it's not a real solution to me, it's just a workaround, since i will have to use yet another plugin and spend more time implementing it to some additional machines i use.
This plugin solves a bunch of things that are very long or never destined to be seen in the TC implementation, so talking about additionality seems a bit reprehensible to me.
I don't think that age or anything like that can be an excuse for such a long and rather senseless expectation of what can be obtained now at the expense of the tools being expanded by the possibilities of the program.
It may seem like a workaround to you, but it completely satisfies your request, which means that calling it unreal is at least illogical.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Quite a bit of spamming lately (discount codes) - I know from other forums that: 1) they with hold the first post until moderator approval, and 2) don't allow new users to include links for the first 5 or 10 posts - perhaps a suggestion to prevent the flooding of the same posts in all subsections of the forum.

add a sum option in custom view

The phrasing "I don't [...]" implies that it's me who doesn't know a solution. It doesn't get any simpler than that, does it?

That is, you didn't know about the existence of a related topic? Doubtful, but OK.

It's doubtful for you that not everybody knows all threads related to a topic? I certainly doubt that. Anyway, I just skim threads about topics I don't care about as much (or at all). And since I have no use for the information contained in these threads, I delete them from my memory. I certainly know about stuff I use myself and about threads I've been involved in. But even the latter not true every time: threads from 10, 15 or even 20 years ago? Not really remember them.

But that's enough OT.

I am proceeding from your activity. If you are interested in this topic, it is logical that the one mentioned, which was raised a few days ago, should also be interested. No one talks about topics from 100 years ago.
Human nature is such that he cannot delete anything from his memory, no matter how hard he tries. Details of secondary information are deposited and stored in the subconscious, from where they are restored in short-term memory when certain markers are activated. To forget about the topic existence in 10 days (last post from 22.05.2025) is only possible in cases of significant cognitive disorders. Let's assume that you just missed this topic.
