New button-bar parameter desired

I use the button bar to launch a merge utility and would like parameters to identify the left file and the right file (directories too). Current target and source file and directory parameters launch the utility with left and right organized based solely on which TC pane my cursor is in. (Neurons are being killed off all the time: I'm easily confused.)

Unfortunately this isn't currently possible, only source+target file (%P%N and %T%M).
