a fragmented disk shouldn't make any difference for a restoring utility. with fat32, ONLY the first letter of the directory entry gets overwritten. the whole cluster chain remains unchanged. this means, if you have the first cluster, you MUST be able to follow the chain to the end, as each cluster contains a pointer to the next cluster.
of course this is only as long as there was no writing activity on this harddrive.

I know that, that's what I try to tell you the whole time:
Recovering freshly deleted files is no problem all if you are using correct tools.

As you are not able to recover your freshly deleted files with several utilities there is something wrong with your machine, I have told you some hints.

Well, I am repeating myself, time to move on.

Good luck with recovering

i dont need recovering, i only tested these tools.

and i also told you, there never was a single lost cluster or something else on this drive. so it's highly unlikely this is the problem. i'm not even able to recover a 500kb file. the same for the fourth harddisk in my machine, another fat32
