I answered a question only, not forced you to use it.
I neither use that plugin, nor had it installed at any time nor am I using GMail at all because I have no clue why anyone would feel the need to do so. If there is one company I would not open my private data to then it's called Google.

pajo,
does it work for you? I doubt that.
I give thanks only, when i get good answers
Otherwise please explain, i run server and it crashes, i cannot put my username anywhere.
But another solution is to use GMail Drive shell extension, it gives you a drive to your computer under the My Computer folder, where you can create new folders, copy and drag'n'drop files to.
http://www.viksoe.dk/gmail/
its even more convenient, then the plugin, where you have to launch the server first.

yes, i have created a button with this command.
Is there a way then to directly access the gmail-Drive?
i have tried with start-path and parameter like \\GMail Drive\
doesnt work.
How can i realize this?
ok i can drag the gmail drive in the buttonbar, but then gmail opens in extra-window.

Just an idea: Navigate to your GMail Drive virtual folder in the left panel. Make sure you have have enabled the "Save directories on exit option". Now quit Total Commander and restart it. Your Gmail Drive should still be displayed. Open your Wincmd.ini file (Changes Settings file directly). Now search for "[Left]". There should be a setting "Path". This should now have a quite ugly unique identifier. Copy this value to the clipboard and close the settings file. Now create a button and type for command "cd " and then paste the the value from clipboard. This should jump directly to your GMail Drive.

@Leftous
great, it works, i had it almost, its just a simple cd -command and not with cm_OpenDrives. (arrrgh)
Thank you very much, no need for an xtra-Plugin then.
More easy to find the path is just to drag the gmail drive in buttonbar and add cd in the commandline
( i have forgotten this)
Enter a Tooltip then like Gmail-drive
