[OT] I'm looking for an rtf-wiki converter

Post by *SanskritFritz »

Has anyone seen a tool to convert rtf (or maybe html) into wiki syntax?
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

Hello SanskritFritz,
please search for: "DOC", "PDF", "HTML" in:
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
and you will find some converters.
Here is a Wiki about a Doc to ASCII converter. -> Microsoft Word

Kind regards

Hello SanskritFritz,
as the author wrote in the german forum, there are allways copyrights to take care about.
Also the Total Commander Wiki seems to be special, because it uses a lot of code in the texts.
Whenever a RTF-Wiki converter exists, it might not work in the TC-Wiki.
Example: "WikiWord" would create automatically a link: "Wiki word" in wikipedia.
It seems to be the best, to use Mozilla or Firefox (with extensions ) to edit a Wiki page.
Edit:
Wiki Toolbar in Firefox
Mozile (xhtml editing in your browser)

I use a Mozilla context menu extension: BBCode and BBCodeXtra, (best viewed with Mozilla, screenshots)
very usefull for this forum, maybe it could be used someday for the Wiki too.

It is possible that the WikiSysop allready have a WYSIWYG-Editor, you might ask him.
When you do so, please ask him to put in "Other Languages (Andere Sprachen) into the main page.

Kind regards
