Help with MultiRename function

Post by *copyprotected »

Can anyone tell me how i delete or replace punctuation mark in
MultRenamer without removing the dot between the filename and extension?
There must be a way to do this in MultiRename.

If anyone can help me with this, you will make me very happy :D :D

Only possible in three steps using a dummy.

1. Delete the [E] in extension box and enter this in filename box: [N]%%dummy%%[E] -> Press Start
2. Press F5 -> enter [N] in filename box -> search and replace all dots like usual
3. Press F5 -> search and replace %%dummy%% with .

The author has ignored requests like that till now so you either have to live with it or use a 3rd party renamer. Many of them can separate filename from extension so one step is enough.
