What next?
So...
- Linux/Mac version = For that you have WIne
- More flexible buttonbar and menus = TC have the most flexible Menu Compored to other NC-Clones ?
- F2 for renaming = Hopfully not Im used to F6 sind WC3.x
- Undo = Dont know if its worth the fuss
- A better graphical design = IMHO the Design is perfect - dont like these colored Things like SC i.e.
- Macros = why integrate if with autohotkey everything is possible ?
- Better search (like Google Desktop) = What for ?
What about adding
o better FTPs Overview like in FTP-Prgs?
o Making the Directory-Menu more flexible
etc, etc

Hoecker sie sind raus!
1) Temp Panel/Virtual folders -> which will among others allow better integration of search third party tool (like locate32)
2) FTP filtering options when uploading (like internal copy)
3) Drop-down functionality for the buttonbar + Show icons menus
4) Unified command system -> it's probably utopian to think it will be implemented in ver 7 but maybe for ver 7.5 it would really improve TC a lot

One more pretty pointless poll, I guess:
- it is impossible to select more than one option
- the list of improvements is rather short and arbitrary compared to the long list of change requests that were made by groups of people, i.e. disregarding feature requests that were made only by 1 person
- the items in the list are on totally different levels, e.g. compare "F2 for renaming" to "Linux/Mac Version". Creating a Linux and a Mac version are two completely new projects, porting TC to two different platforms. Making F2 the default for renaming is a nothing compared to "Linux/Mac version".
- the poll is a little bit late for V7 I assume

is not acceptable as long TC is not perfect under Windows. As it will never be perfect...Linux/Mac version
not without a unified command system which is missing in the poll and has to come first.More flexible buttonbar and menus
this change wish is so unimportant that it's not worth to be mentioned at all.F2 for renaming
would be nice but as TC users are teached to be careful due to the lack of undo functionality it's definetely not number one priority.Undo
If you mean better WindowBlinds and visual styles support I second that. For the rest I would prefer a functional redesign. TC will never be a beautiful application. Well, at least as long there is no designer hired.A better graphical design
See above, unified command system, definetely a must.Macros
Would be a big enhancement, Locate simply rocks:Better search (like Google Desktop)

This request is due to the poll about F2 being standard, not about the ability to reassign the key.F2 - This is already available, I use it already.
Because Jesus in on holiday and there is WINE or Krusader, furthermore because ghisler is the only developer and TC is not free which is what most Linux users are expecting.why for the name of god we need this sentence, icfu ?

Wine ? no way..
Howdy,
TC under Wine ? You must be kidding...
No matter if TC runs under Wine or not (i've tested 6.51 and it ran fine),
the requirements for a file manager under Linux are totally different
which makes TC under Linux a bad choice, regarding user permissions,
shell support, mounting (virtual drives etc.) and so on.
Cheers,
Oliver 'Bloody' Lange.
