File copying from different directories/devices
Is it possible to copy different files from different directories/devices at the same time? For example :I have file c:\AA\BB\CC\A.A and f:\WW\TT\R.R. Also we have a directory h:\EE\WW. I would like to mark these files/dir (with Num+0) (so TC should remember my selections) and I woul like to copy them with F5 into (for example from left to right panel). It would create two files in current directory (A.A and R.R and directory WW with all the files in it).
One possible way would probably be Search and Feed to listbox (if TC could append to the listbox).
Thanks,
MiskoX

You can open the "background transfer manager", select the first file, then press "+" in the background transfer manager to add the file for copying. Then repeat the same with other files. TC 6.0 will offer an easier way to do this via a button in the F5 copy dialog.

it could be as easy as a file system plugin that remembers all filepaths copied to it (symlinks, more or less). Then you can copy back from it, or delete the stuff there.
On delete it'd ask if you want to delete the original or just delete the temporary panel entry for it.
easier to implement that, is. Both methods have advantages over the other I reckon.

Actually we talking about real time queue.

There are at least free plugins for this purpose already exist. IMHO the best one is Temporary Drive by Igor A. Labutin.

It is already implemented as BTM. It only remains to integrate BTM to "Copy" dialog. And actually, it's already done, as you can see :).[/face]

The new button in the copy dialog will do the following:Please, give a bit more details about this new functionality.
- if no background transfer manager (BTM) is open, a new one will be opened and the files will be added to it
- if a BTM is open, the files will just be added
- if multiple BTMs are open, the files will be added to the last opened

I would love it to see the BTM (optional) as a tab. This would tidy-up my workspace (what is actualy the sence of tabs). If the option 'MTB as tab' is enabled you would have for each MTB a new tab instead of a new task.
What do you thik about that? I learnd to love such a feature with the Downloadmanager in Opera.
