Why didn't you become an alphatester? As an alphatester you could answer this question all by yourself by looking at the history.txt file

I want to be alpha/beta tester, but Ghisler sent me very far away when I asked he about it...
Can it be real ? What I must do for it ? I use TC from v2.0, and found many bugs, and sometimes write to Ghisler. But my words isn't such effective as testers'...

Sorry I have no idea. The group of alpha testers is quite small. I guess new alphatesters are only hired when old exhausted alpha besters retire.

I've written Chr. Ghisler a few times over the years with bugs, but the last few times, about FTP, has been ignored totally (or at least left unresponded).

If any beta testers wish, I'll give them FTP access to a spot on our server for FTP testing. I still have major, serious issues with this - well, actually, I don't, as I've had to change everything to Filezilla instead, but I really didn't invest in TC just to end up using opensource software instead because my paid software couldn't live up to specs. It has gotten steadily worse with each version; it's no longer even feasible to upload a phpBB or a phpMyAdmin script via TC as I can be sure to get disconnected once every 10-100 files. Sometimes even worse than that.

If any beta testers want to test against our system, contact me @ alleykat AT phpbb2.dk and we'll set something up. The FTP is a totally standard ProFTPd on a server centre in Germany.
