[BUG] Show->Tree

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

After selecting "Show->Tree" drives list and drive info (label and size) become empty

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

This is by design! Why? Since the desktop is now the root, there is NO PARENT any more!

It's not a bug, its a feature. The tree contains all drives and all the virtual folders. Which drive do you expect to be shown in the combobox in this situation?

So why TC 6.55 hasn't such behaviour?

In 6.55 the tree was shown for the current drive only.

Yes but this is not the behavior in the separate panels. When you click on Desktop, it shows "" as drive. Maybe that's better.

Well. But why are combobox and info not refreshed when i select some drive?
