AlwaysCopyInBackground=2 not working as expected

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

AlwaysCopyInBackground=2 not working as expected

Post by *wanderer »

AlwaysCopyInBackground: When pressing F5, it puts process in download queue. This does not happen when dragging/dropping. It doesn't state it should work like this in the help.

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

not confirmed. xp sp2.

P.S. Start copy process and then start another one. So you have now 2 items in the queue. Now click on the [x] button. 'User abort' message appears and then queue remains with the paused second copying process. I think in that case transfer manager should be closed because we still may remove any item with the [-] button

This was actually requested by some users who had put tons of files in the queue, which was lost when aborting one operation...
