Are you sure those mp3 files contain album info?
If yes, please make sure you are running TCx64. Now open Custom columns configuration dialog and check that MediaInfoWDX is really in the list of available plugins.
I see the tags perfectly fine in Foobar2000 and windows explorer so i guess yes. Yep i am seeing mediainfowdx as avaliable plugins when in custom columns. Running TC x64, checked with Processexplorer.

Please, try ShellDetails and its column "Album". But I don't know why the other plugin shouldn't work.

Test by yourself. I even run TC in administrator mode. It should work but i don't know why.

Yes, that is the standard (for 32 and 64-bit).
The correct version is chosen automatically.

BTW: You don't have to choose anything.
To install a plugin. just do double click on the zip/rar plugin file and it will install correctly. Press OK if asked during install.

OK i still seem to have problems. I've installed the zip through TC as you said but next time i start TC it can't read the tags again somehow.

The plugin won't work in Windows 8 x64. Or the plugin isn't compatible with the latest TC version. DirSize calc plugin works flawlesy though so there must be something wrong with the plugin.

I tried to install MediaInfo-v0.05, but it shows a message about missing DLL.
A quick check with Dependency Walker results in missing:

Code: Select all

MSVCP110.DLL
MSVCR110.DLL
Those files are part of "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 1"
Just a wild guess: you have installed the 32-bit Version already, but the 64-bit version is still missing.

It doesn't say anything about a missing dll. I do have Visual C++ Redistrutable x86 and x64, from 2005 to 2010.

I would appreciate it if plugin writers could compile their plugins without the need of these runtime dlls. The plugin will not be much larger this way, but it removes a lot of troubles especially when using the plugin from a USB stick.
