For TCx64 you can use ShellDetails (provides almost anything that Explorer can see) or MediaInfoWDX. None of them is made specifically for MP3 files, but they should work.

Thanks! While at it how do i run the 32-bit version? I've installed TC 32+64-bits combined.
Mm ShellDetails doesn't support neither Vista nor Windows 7.
christianh,
If you install combined WDX plugin, it will work in both 32+64. But you must install it in 64-bit TC (it will install it for both 32+64).
Also, you can install different plugins for 32 and 64 and just put both fields into a column so only one of them will work in each TC.

Thanks for the headup! Seems the plugin can't read mp3/flac album tags somehow though. I'm at lost here.
You can try to make some plugin working to get an idea how it works BTW. If plugin is installed, you'll see its available fields in Show - Custom Columns Mode - Configure custom columns window.

Yea i knew that of course. But the Album General column in that plugin doesn't work.
christianh, I just tested both ShellDetails and MediaInfoWDX and they are working. Also, what makes you think that ShellDetails does not work on Vista or Windows 7?

I am running x64 Windows 8. They don't seem to work, atleast the plugin doesn't manage to read the tags from the mp3 files.
Running TC x64 and choosed the wdx64. Looks like this
... the plugin doesn't manage to read the tags from the mp3 files
Basic question: Are you sure the album tags have any content for this files?
Does Windows Explorer show any content at this column (you have to enable the column display first)?
2christianh
Are you sure those mp3 files contain album info?
If yes, please make sure you are running TCx64. Now open Custom columns configuration dialog and check that MediaInfoWDX is really in the list of available plugins.
