That could be a nice feature, but I think that I personally would use a feaure like I described above, because it is not only .lng files that I would like to compare before installation, and it is hard for me to say which file types in general that should be automatically excluded.

The new BETA 8 version contains some brand new features; many of the existing bugs have been eliminated as well, of course. The most important change is that from now on you can even filter the list of the plugins by their state (unknown / updatable / show all), and the search feature has been improved too. Everyone can find something in this version which is useful to him/her IMO, so I suggest you to carefully browse through the latest changelog.

Update is strongly recommended - you can use the latest stable version if you encounter any problem! (read the changelog for more info...)

I remember you already posted that downloading of "TotalAndDroid" and "AKFont" is not possible, but unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it (AKFont uses captcha protection, while FileListViewer needs a post action to get the link from the site)...

You can simply double-click in the list of downloads on such erroneous items, so their download link opens up in your default browser (or right click and choose "Direct link" option / press Ctrl + D).

@Bluestar, thanks for the updates (not speaking silently )

I found an issue regarding updating the Imagine 1.0.9 plugin (http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/imagine.html).

The 64-bit version has a different download file (Imagine_1.0.9_x64_Unicode.zip), than the 32-bit version (Imagine_1.0.9.zip).

When trying to update 64-bit Imagine plug-in, TU mistakenly downloads Imagine_1.0.9.zip, thus updating the 32-bit version while leaving the (old) 64-bit version untouched.

(Database is current one from 2013-10-02 with 496 entries.)

I'm gonna release the new Beta9 version in a couple of hours which should also fix this 64-bit related download issue (the code was already implemented, but wasn't yet activated cause I needed to test some things more thoroughly)...

After that, the next one is going to be a stable version in the 0.8.x series. ^^ I'll need all the translator's hard work to make the localizations up-to-date. Going to send some mails with lng-file differences in the next couple of days...

There is not enough room for the Danish tranlation of the string ShowUpdatableItems - an I can't make it shorter. The space for the string should follow the width of the collumn "Update / Status".

True point, you're absolutely right. Maybe I could call it "WC Freshener" then, but I guess that would not be good enough for a title as well...

Mhh... what about representing this line as the Danish translation of "Updates" or "Updates only", wouldn't it be a bit shorter then?
It'd be nice to have all these strings localized without the need to raise the default width of the main form, I'd really like to avoid that (although you're right, from the next version the width of these radiobuttons going to be re-set when resizing the app).

I did that, and it works OK, but ShowUpdatableItems is an old string - is it not used elsewhere?
