[Req] text editor

I found TC integrated text editor as very usable (and looking forvard for WM5 compatible version). Is it possible to use it standalone, or TC to have new submenu "New text document"?

It's a very simplistic editor which supports only files up to 64k (because the underlying text control doesn't display characters behind the 64k limit!). Therefore it's currently not planned to make a standalone version of it. I have tried to rewrite it with the rich ink control to support larger files, but this control had a lot of other problems, so I had to drop it.

looking forvard for WM5 compatible version

It should already work OK with WM5! Did you encounter any problems? If yes, which? I'm currently adapting TC/CE to WM5, and would like to know if there are any problems with version 2 of the software.

there's no problem with wm5, I just thought of advantages of usling left/right softkeys, which is making TC usable with one hand

Indeed TC/CE 2.5 will support them!
