Bug TC Pocket 2.5

Post by *Dr.Verdi »

While copying a couple of files there are displayed two progress bars.
The upper will show progress for each file from 0 to 100 %, the lower does nothing.

What is the sense of the new Plugin directory ?
Grüsse

When i select the menu point "show"-"adjust/sort tabs" there pops up a window at the lower limit of the display. But it seems to be not fully displayed. It shows in my case
----------------
Sort by:
Column width:
Name:
Size:
Date:
?? there seems to be a line more ? but i can´t see it.
----------------

in Landscape Mode there is displayed only the line

The upper will show progress for each file from 0 to 100 %, the lower does nothing.
The upper shows the progress _per file_, while the lower shows the progress of how many files have been copied so far. So when you copy 100 files, it should show 100 different states (from 1 to 100%). It is _not_ proportional to the total file size as in TC for Windows.
What is the sense of the new Plugin directory ?
Containing the plugins? People complained that they couldn't find things like ftp or registry, because they overlooked the directory named \\.

Do you use a Windows Mobile 5 device? On this, the two buttons OK and Cancel are handled via the new 2 soft buttons. On older devices, the two buttons should be shown, though.
in Landscape Mode there is displayed only the line
Do not switch between portrait and landscape mode while this dialog box is shown! It is not adjusted to screen changes.

Yes i have a WM5 device.
The upper shows the progress _per file_, while the lower shows the progress of how many files have been copied so far. So when you copy 100 files, it should show 100 different states (from 1 to 100%).
I have copied a couple of files (about 100) and the lower does nothing, shows 0%.

I was a little irritated about this new container.

Here is a capture of the screen problem.

That's not intentional, maybe a WM5 bug. I will check it.
Here is a capture of the screen problem.
It's intentional like this: The hidden buttons are just OK and Cancel, which are replaced on WM5 by the OK and Cancel toolbar buttons at the bottom. I can try to hide them to avoid confusion to the user.

I can confirm that with the newest beta2 the progress bar bug is corrected.
