The behaviour of F6 is not consistent with FTP. Instead of copying then deleting the file, TC shows the inline rename (Shift-F6). So I need to start the background FTP copy, then remember to delete the files from FTP. Quite unpleasant.
It's not a big deal, but it is one of those things which step on your toes again and again.
(offtopic) Btw, could you also change the default install directory in the setup from c:\totalcmd to c:\program files\totalcmd or c:\program files\Total Commander? While I agree that TC is one of those few programs who are in a class of their own (like... WinAmp) it is unpleasant to have programs install in a root folder.
Thanks,
Rares
Move (F6) does not work with FTP sites

Hello, rares.
Please take the pain of using the forum search on both issues/requests to get more details than given below. (Have been discussed more than once.)
Move to FTP (f6) has not been implemented to protect data from being lost.
The default installation folder had been changed to %programfiles%\totalcmd and had to be changed back to C:\totalcmd, because non-admin users lack the right to create folders inside %programfiles% on NT-based Windows systems, but may pollute the root folder.
Ciao,
Karl
