TC on HTC 8525 - Which Processor Version?

Post by *chasmk »

I just got an 8525 and have no idea which processor to use. I have looked for the processor and discovered that it is a 400MHz Samsung SC32442A stacked CPU (with ATI Imageon Multimedia co-processor). I am new to this stuff and have no idea which of the processor versions is compatible with this. I would greatly appreciate any help. I have been using TC since the mid 80's when it was in the early stages of Windows Commander on Windows 3 or maybe before. I hate to have anything that does not have this program as I am so used to it I can hardly use Explorer.

Thanks in advance ofr the help.

PS - I noticed someone here in a thread about an FTP question indicated they were using TC on one and will try emailing them but have no idea if they will respond.

Scratch that on emailing the guy in the FPT thread. I did not see an email address and as far as I can tell he has emailing blocked.

Again, I'm just not sure which processor version I should try with the 8525. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
chasmk

The Samsung SC32442A seems to be based on the ARM processor architecture.

This processor is used in the ETEN X500 device. TC2.5 works OK
