console output in a pane

I use a lot of programs that output stuff to console, greps, gawks, scripts, etc.

It would be great if the output of the console program could be captured to the Windows Commander pane.

I understand that this feature is interesting to a limited set of users (mostly programmers and admins that tend to use console tools), so - can this maybe be implemented as a plugin of some sort?

Have you already tried a TConsole plugin?
Unfortunately it's limited to Windows 2000 or Windows XP only.
