Search entire network
Sorry if already discussed.
Is it possible to search for files through entire network, not only through a specified shared directory?

Blind> I use Network Searcher, but it cannot search between 2 dates. The screenshot of your program makes me think that your program has the same disadvantage. Sorry if i'm wrong.
True, but you can sort the search result by date and then find the file(s) your looking for that way.
The only search filter, besides filename, is filesize. You can also specify which workgroups to include/exclude.
Blind> And i don't want to use beta version. When the final (stable) version will be available?
Dont be afraid of beta software
. About a stable realease, I dont know? maybe never

Only by setting Prompt to continue scan at type to Computer, and select no when it prompts you to continue.
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!
I searched for a program that was capable of this awhile back and found the best one to be:
Beyond Search by leisoft... Their website went down a few months ago and they claim they will be coming back, but I haven't seen anything.
I really liked their interface which allows you to perform the same types of searches that you can within windows and the ability to perform actions on the search results. Check it out at:
