Plugin for Doxc and Doc Files

Post by *joymartin »

Hello!

I don´t have a plugin that allows my right panel of TC to see the content of docx files fast, nor the doc files. Does anybody have a suggestion?

Thanks,

Joy

txQuickview does it:

You only have to add a new docx file extension:
Once you see the docx file, click the first button in the toolbox --> settings and you will see the registered file extensions pane. There you can add the new docx extension and you will see the content of your docx files.

Alternative to buttons?

Thank you for your prompt response!

I do not use the button bar. Where would I find "settings"?

If you want to use txQuickview:
1. Download from http://www.speedproject.de/enu/txquickview/index.html
2. Install
3. Open Lister or Quick view panel (if you don't see txQuickview, select next pluging pressing 4)
4. Click the first button (viewer) in Lister Button bar--> settings and you will see the registered file extensions panel.
5. Add the new .docx extension

I'm confused. When I press the number 4, TC filters to show filenames containing the number 4. It does not cycle through the plugins that I have installed. I don't know how to cycle through my plugins that way.

Nice! Yes, I must tab over to the quickview pane and now when I "press 4" I see the renderings in sequence from all of the relevant wlx plugins. Now I understand that the "4" that does this is the same "4" in Lister Options: "1=text, ...4=image...".
What I hadn't realized is that Lister will cycle though the relevant plugins.
