How to get TC to display overlay folder icons correctly?

Hello,
I have just now installed SugarSync (online synchronization tool- pretty cool 2gb storage for free).

When I display the folders I have chosen for synchronization in Windows Explorer, they have a custom folder icon.

No matter what option I try, I cannot get TC to display these folder icons properly. Is there any way?

TC displays such overlay icons correctly for some apps (e.g MS Live Mesh) but I cannot get it to work with SugarSync.

Do this folders contain hidden desktop.ini files?

If yes, these folders need to have their attributes set to "read only" (Files -> Change attributes -> Read only). Please, be aware that only folders have to get it and not their content (do not set Recurse subdirectories option).

thanks...the overlay icons appeared mysteriously when I rebooted.

I do not see desktop.ini files in my sugarsync folders.
i do see other hidden files though.
I guess desktop.ini files are not there.

desktop.ini is not needed for overlay icons, just for individual per folder main icons.
