Skipped files after a copy operation

Post by *totfun »

Is it possible to keep selected the skipped files after a copy operation?
(those in subfolders too).

:D Hello!
Easy!
- Just press Num / to restaure the selection in the source directory,
- Then press Num * to invert the selection: now, the files previously skipped are selected, the copied ones are not!

(Excuse me for my english)
2 Clo: Hello! Thank you for your answer but probably there was a misunderstanding. I wanted to mean skipped not by me but by TC during copy operation because I set "Skip all".

If I had the selection of "skip all" skipped files, I could...

restart the copy only for them (acting like a new copy-option:"skip all...but re-ask the user at the end") or

zip them in the target folder (acting like a new copy-option: "if a file already exists, zip it instead of copying") or

print a list of the skipped files or

copy them in a temporary panel to analyze them or

...

:( So difficult to understand, in fact...
- I tested now using F5 and the "Skip All" function: I get only copies of the selected files in the other window (it was an empty patch-directory...)
- With Num / , the previous selection comes back in the source-directory...
- So, you know which the copied files were ...
:?: Right?
Note: I never use F5, I use to copy by Drag&Drop...
 Friendly,
Clo

I wish mark each file that is not been copied because I set "Skip All" and (of course) in the target directory there already was a file with the same name.
